Wednesday at 10

An informal coffee morning for the benefit of retired or semi-retired people, Wednesday at 10 is held at 10am on the third Wednesday of each month in the Newland Christian Centre, just across the road from the Haworth Arms pub. Everyone is welcome.
We have the following aims:
- To provide an opportunity to meet with others of similar age, for encouragement in the Christian life in the later years.
- To explore the application of Bible truths to one's everyday life.
- To find out how to serve God, despite decreasing mobility and possible failing health - i.e. to continue to be useful
- To provide a social occasion, particularly for those who don't like to go out in the evening, and for those who are lonely, recently bereaved or retired etc.
- To provide an opportunity to invite non-Christian friends.
