Riverside Church was started as a "church plant" from St. John's Church in September 1998, to cover the community in the Haworth, Greenacres and "Ghost" estates. This is an area between St John's and St Faith's which is not particularly close to either of the existing church buildings.
The church meets in the Riverside Community Centre, on Parkstone Road, at 11am on Sundays. Services are informal in style and visitors are always welcome. Why not come along and find out what it's all about?
In addition to the Sunday services, there is "J-Club", an activity group for 5-11 year olds which meet on a Tuesday night from 5:45 to 6:45pm.
Also there is the "ABC Group" for toddlers (and adults!) which meets on a Thursday from 1-3pm.

What's on at Riverside Church
Sunday 11am: Services In the Community Centre with Creche (0-3 years), Spotlight (4-7 years), Laser (8-10 years), Strobe (11-14 years) - no Spotlight, Lazers or Strobe on Family Service weeks.
Tuesdays 9.45 -11.30 am Tuesday Group for Women, Newland Christian Centre, 552 Beverley Road.
Tuesdays 5.45pm-6.45pm J Club for 5-11s, in the Community Centre
Wednesdays Home Groups - alternate weeks starting 8pm: For more info contact Malcolm Peters on 854526
Thursdays 1.15pm-3pm ABC Group (Adults, Babies & Children)
