Children and young people
Creche (age 0 to 3)
Babies and toddlers are well cared for during the 10.30am church service - in their own room just at the back of the church building, within easy reach of parents. If for any reason your child is unhappy, one of the creche supervisors will come and find you in church.
Children over 3 come in for the first part of the 10.30am church service, then leave for activities in their own age groups. If you're new to St John's or visiting, just join the exodus to the back of church and we'll find the right group for you.
Scramblers (age 3 to 5)
Scramblers caters for children who are pre-school or in 'Reception' class. We normally listen to a bible story, then get stuck in and make some props for the story! |

Climbers (age 5 to 7)
Climbers is for children who have started school (years 1 and 2). |
Explorers (age 7 to 11)
For school years 3 to 6. As well as Sunday morning activities, we have a Club Night, Wednesdays 6.15 to 7.30pm in the Parish Hall... a time of fun and games with the occasional outing (bowling, hikes etc.) And we have a tuck shop! |

Pathfinders (age 11 to 14)
For school years 7 to 9. We run on Sunday mornings and on Fridays from 7.15 to 8.45pm - Through fun games, activities, evenings out and bible teaching we aim to bring young people to God. If you've started secondary school, then this could be the group for you. |
